  What is Agri Tourism Concept all about?
Agricultural Tourism is the Holidays concept of Visiting a working farm or any agricultural, horticultural, or agribusiness operations for the purpose of enjoyment, education, or active involvement in the activities of the farm or operation. In general Agri Tourism is the practice of attracting travelers or visitors to an area or areas used primarily for agricultural purposes.

  What is there to see and enjoy in your Agricultural Farm at Agri Tourism Unit / Village?
Agri Tourism activities includes farm tours; tractor and bullock cart rides; grapes, mangoes, and other horticulture farms and by - product farms; birds and animal farms; There are lot of things the visitors or guests can enjoy in this agri tourism unit/farm; Total area under cultivation here is of 30 acres, primarily use for agricultural purposes. The visitors here can also visit the grampanchayat village office and school; village fairs and markets, near by Jaggery making unit; Emu bird Farm; Sugar Factory; Taluka Milk Collection Centers and some of the oldest religious temples and also Museum.
  What is arrangement for over night stay and how are accommodation facilities and amenities?

1.The over night stay arrangement is at the farm itself, there are 20 rooms and 2 dormetory / big halls with attached toilets. The occupancy is triple sharing every room have 3 single beds. One Room is allotted to each Family .The accommodation facilities are basic but very hygienic neat and clean. The Water heaters are fitted to provide the running hot water for bathing in the morning. There is also the facility of dormitory hall, wherein more than 50 people can easily accommodate. Total accomodation for 200 persons.

  What are outdoor recreational activities for children and adults?
The outdoor recreational activities for children and adults during daytime are farm tours and agricultural education programs, how to grow sugarcane, grapes, pomegranate, guava, watermelon, other fruits and what are the food values of each fruits, how to take care for cattle, nature education programs, domestic animals and emu bird farms visits and education of the different tress, demonstrations such as goat and cow milking, honey making, silk making, jaggery making, rural games that they can play as gotya; bovhra; surparanbhya; vittidandu; Buffalo ride; bullock cart ride; tractor rides; watching domestic animals; clay molding; painting the nature scenery; tree climbing or simply run with the cycle tyre.
  What is there to do in the evening or is there organized entertainment programs?
The Evenings are generally fun filled, star gazing activity and the rural maharashtra folk dances and folk songs programs is organized on every Wednesday and Saturday Evening, bonfire/ campfire during winter seasons, family games, children games, and lots of fun filled programs.
  What kinds of meals are served to the guests?
The food served is pure vegetarian Maharashtrian style, for breakfast Poha, Upma, or Shira, for the lunch usually jawar or bajra bhakri, chapattis, rice, varan, pickle, papad, kurdaya, bhaji, thecha, wangeche bharit, jhunka/ pitla, any fresh green vegetable sabji, matki / chawli usal shabji, etc.
  How safe & secure is your agri tourism unit?
The Agri Tourism unit at Palshi is very Safe & secure for all the guests and visitors, there is only one main entrance gate, during daytime almost people work in the farm, plus the entire area of 30 acres is barbed wire fenced and over and above there is adequate 24 hrs security persons.
  Whether emergency medical services are available at the agri tourism unit?
This Agri Tourism unit is just 1 km from the Palshi village. There are specialist doctors available 24hrs on call.
  Whether there is an emergency transport facility, in the unlike event if the Tourist or guest wants to travel back to pune?
Yes, The nearest bus stop is just 1 km from the farm and main bus station is just 10kms at Morgaon Town wherein there is regular bus service to Pune every after 30 min that reaches to pune in just 1hr 30 mints. In case very emergency event the Agri Tourism Development Corporation will organize private transport facility (at extra cost)
  What is the other Risk involved?
we have identified the agri tourism activities that we are going to offer and then examined the risks those activities may create. For example: you may decide to ride the bullock cart ride or tractor tailor ride is not risks free, since there is always a possibility that a guests will fall off the bullock cart or the tractor tailor, however there are established rules and regulations that protects our guests from potential risks.
  What is the Liability of the Agri Tourism Development Corporation during agri tourism visits?
Sometime we may not always be able to avoid the accidents during agri tourism visits at the farms, we make sure that our operations and the farm activity and the sight seeing tours at the farm and outside the farms to sugar factory, jaggery making unit is safe as possible and have taken appropriate safety precautions. The Guests or visitors will be solely responsible to the any general, financial, personal, property, product, and professional loss during the Agri Tourism tours and the ATDC Company cannot be held responsible.
  Does ATDC organize the conducted tours to Baramati Agri Tourism Palshi?
Yes, ATDC organize conducted tours for individual family groups, students groups, senior citizens groups, church groups, corporate company groups, special disable persons groups.
